Fernanda Rosa

Fernanda graduated in December 2015 with a thesis titled "Role of Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor Gamma on Prevention/Cure of Mastitis" .

She was involved in several projects as leader:

- for her thesis she performed 2 in vivo projects (one performed during summer 2014, prior her arrival, but she analyzed samples and data and a second in vivo experiment carried out during summer 2015 where she coordinated and carried out the entire experiment) and several in vitro experiments using gene reporter assays

- a continuous milking project in dairy goats

- experiment to evaluate the feasibility of using stool from calves to study transcriptomics as a alternative non-invasive method

 

Fernanda is now an Assistant Professor of Immunology at Texas Tech University.
