Jayant partecipated to two projects while in Bionaz's lab. 1) the role of PPARdelta on lactose synthesis in bovine mammary epithelial cells and 2) the effect of 2,4-thiazolidinedione in milk fat production and repsonse to intramammary infection in well-fed dairy goats
Jayant published the following manuscripts from the work in Bionaz's lab:
1) Review titled "Biosynthesis of milk fat, protein, and lactose: roles of transcriptional and posttranscriptional regulation". Jayant wrote the section about lactose synthesis.
2) Research Article titled "Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor β/δ does not regulate glucose uptake and lactose synthesis in bovine mammary epithelial cells cultivated in vitro". Jayant is the first author. He carried out the experiment and drafted the manuscript. (under final review in Journal of Dairy Research)
Three more research articles are in preparation where Jayant is co-author.
